The GRISSOMHILL sound is a unique combination of rock, americana, blues and country. With melodic musical influences from such bands as Pink Floyd, The Eagles, The Band, Wilco, Van Halen, Kris Kristofferson, George Harrison, Jimi Hendrix , Billy Gibbons, Robin Trower, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Monty Montgomery, Jimi Hendrix, The Who, Ian Moore and Roger Waters.
Over the past few years, GRISSOMHILL has played many venues in various parts of the country with such bands as Kevin Fowler, Jason Allen, The Burden Brothers, Vallejo, Houston Marchman, Guy Forsyth and many more.
GRISSOMHILL FACTOID:
The name GRISSSOMHILL actually comes from a hill on Mars named after Astronaut Gus Grissom who died during a botched launch in the Apollo Missions. In late 2004 the unmanned NASA rover "Opportunity" found the mountain during one of it's first explorations.....
